Christmastide 2008 Night #7...

Whew, what a day...there's a few lines from tonight's Christmastide movie that sums this day up pretty well:

There's magic in the air this evening Magic in the air The world is at her best, you know When people love and care The promise of excitement is one the night will keep There's something in the wind today That's good for everyone Yes, faith is in our hearts today We're shining like the sun And everyone can feel it, the feeling's running deep

My roommate got married this morning...one of the caterers said it best when he said: "We do a lot of weddings and this one was by far the most sincere that I have ever seen." It really was an incredible ceremony from start to finish! The above words from One More Sleep 'Til Christmas are a perfect way to describe the infectious spirit that was present to all before, during, and after this wedding.

I also must admit it was nice to have the extra vacation day from work so that I could take time away to enjoy the wedding and be there to support my friends and not have to worry about how poor I currently am...due to losing a roommate to marriage! With everything going on tonight it was most fitting that tonight's movie should be The Muppet Christmas Carol...

I know
I will step on a few toes by saying this, but of all the Christmas Carol movies this one is far and above my favorite...Jim Henson really was a genius and this movie was an excellent tribute made by his son Brian following Jim's death.

I think my feelings, thoughts, prayers, and any other words I might have are pretty much summed up in this clip from the movie:
