Happy Birthday Portia!!
My puppy Portia turns one year old today! Unfortunately I do not get to see her today as we are about 2500 miles apart. Lucky for her she has a real nice Auntie who is taking care of her and as you can see from the photo above is being supplied with a wonderful birthday treat. I do miss having Portia around and I am very much looking forward to the day when she gets to come out to Virginia to be with me. It would seem that day is fast approaching for as of last night I signed a lease on a condo about a mile and a half from work. I will still be living out of a suitcase and a sleeping bag for a while, but hopefully before too long I will be able to have my storage unit shipped or hauled out to me. I am very much looking forward to settling in and becoming more established here. Full production of our programming goes into effect in just 37 days and it is hard to believe that exactly one month ago today I boarded a train in Portland, Oregon and left on this adventure. I miss everyone and I especially miss being able to spend time with Portia on her birthday. Those pictures are so cute. I can't believe its been a month already! On the one hand it went by really fast and on the other it feels like you've been gone forever. Congrats on the new place and you better believe the good Dr. and I will be visiting... :)
